About Me - Narcisa Sierra, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience successfully helping individuals obtain emotional-wellness and improving the quality of their lives. Throughout my career, I've worked with diverse individuals in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, residential facilities, and within the criminal justice system. I have come to understand that while we may struggle with many of the same issues, we are all unique individuals. I tailor my therapeutic approach with this in mind, treating every client as an individual. I believe your well-being is best supported by addressing your individual needs and addressing the state of your total health - mind, body, and spirit. I utilize a holistic and client-centered approach incorporating elements of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
My practice is located in Westchester and I offer both office based sessions and online therapy. I provide a comfortable space for my clients to feel heard and understood. I seek to understand things from your point of view and provide a safe place to offer support, guidance, and feedback so that meaningful personal growth can take place. I am passionate about helping others develop self-awareness, improve their self-esteem, and facilitate positive change in their lives.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York and a hold a provisional Licensed Mental Health Counselor License in the State of Florida. I graduated from John Jay College and hold Masters' Degrees in Mental Health Counseling and in Forensic Psychology.
